Read this to my 2 year old daughter to teach her what a flower girl is about a month before she was to be one. She loved the story and walked perfectly down the aisle though she did ask for cake a couple times while she stood at the altar. Pinkalicious loves that she gets cake at the wedding and that is the part that stood out most to my daughter. But she still enjoys reading this and remembering how much fun it was being a flower girl.

It was a very cute book however it didn't talk much about the flower girls job in a wedding. It gave silly examples of what she thought a flower girl was/did. I wish it would have talked more about flower girl duties and the wedding. There is one page that talks about a wedding out of the whole book.

This book was great for us because Halloween was canceled a year ago due to the Sandy weather fiasco. It was very upsetting for our daughter and made worse by poor city communication that lead to us taking our daughter out that night only to find trick-or-treat had been canceled at the 11th hour. My husband carried a screaming and crying 3 year-old home in the rain after being turned away at the first house. This book is about a Halloween being canceled due to a bad storm which left the town without power and with many dangerous conditions that prevented trick-or-treating. Pinkalicious saves the day by suggesting a trick-or-treat in the park with flashlights and things. It's a good book to have on hand because if you live in the eastern midwest or in the east where things like heavy storms or snow can cause problems at the end of October -- you may find yourself happy to have this book on hand.

We used this to ask our friend's daughter to be our flower girl. It was a great book but I wish it explained more on what it meant to be a flower girl as it only talks about what it is NOT.

Ordered this book for my 4 year old daughter to introduce her to the idea of being a flower girl for her aunt's wedding in a few months. The book is fantastic, beautifully designed and illustrated. Pinkalicious is a much better role model then so many of the characters she watches on TV.

Ordered these for my flower girls and paired them with Would you be my flower girl puzzles from Amazon seller XOXOKRISTEN . This is such a funny and heart warming story. It will make you laugh. I couldn't get through the story without tearing up either, but I'm that kind of Bride-LOL. The moms really loved this story too. One of my flower girls already ready Pinkalicious books.

My daughter really enjoys this book! It has a great story line about Halloween being cancelled and how it's saved. The main character has a super hero costume that she wears to help save the day!The illustrations are very nice, detailed and colorful. This book is long enough to really get a great storyline but short enough that you wont get bored reading it to your child. We read books every night before bed and this has been my three year old daughter's top pick.I really look forward to getting more in this series!

My girls (ages 3 and 6) are big fans of Pinkalicious and we have purchased every book. We pre-ordered this book to make sure we got it in time for Halloween. In this story, Pinkalicious is getting ready for Halloween when a blackout hits the town and threatens to cancel Trick-or-Treating for everyone. The mayor announces that there will be no Trick-or-Treating if the electric company isn't able to get the lights turned back on in time due to safety concerns. Not ready to give up, Pinkalicious springs into action donning her Pinkagirl (Pink Supergirl) costume and marches down to the mayor's office with an idea. In the end, there is a happy ending where Pinkagirl's idea saves Halloween for the whole town and she and Peter come away with a huge haul of Trick-or-Treat candy, making it the most Sweetalicious Halloween ever.Overall, this is a happy and fun Halloween story with no "Mean Girl", "Pink Stinks" negativity that is found in some of the books. I like the lesson in this story about not giving up and problem solving. It is is done in a creative and fun way through a realistic solution to a problem. The book also comes with several stickers of Pinkalicous and her friends in their costumes and some other Halloween decorations. This book is a really nice addition to our Pinkalicious collection and will be great for he upcoming holiday. Highly Recommended!
